Our Boats
The Temple family have been operating boats out of Morston quay for well over 90 years.
The whole family help to run the business, with future generations often on board learning the ropes!
We run three fully licenced and coded boats, the Four Sisters, Morston Ferry and Lily Too.
The Four Sisters
The Four Sisters is a 48-seater former lifeboat that Jim converted to a Class V passenger boat in 1997. He created a beautiful craft that glides through the harbour, which has truly become his seafaring partner.
He named her after his four daughters, Sally, Diddly, Weez and Elsie – the Four Sisters. Previous history records showed the Temple family working out of Wells harbour in a boat called the Three Brothers so the connection continued.
She is a spacious sturdy vessel, used daily and available to hire privately for any large groups.
Morston Ferry
The Morston Ferry is Jim’s pride and joy and is the boat he had purpose built in 1973.
She is a traditional wooden vessel, made in Potter Heigham, which Jim brought home to Morston by sea along the coast. She holds 30 passengers and is also available for private hire.
Lily Too
The Lily Too is our smallest boat, a 12-seater, and the most recent
member of the fleet. She arrived along with Jim’s fifth daughter, Lily, so was named accordingly!
Lily Too is used daily for seal trips, but she is also a popular boat for private hire due to her size and our ability to offer her for something a little bit different.
We can organise tailor made exclusive trips, including meals on
board, picnics on the Point, birthday gatherings, hen/stag groups,
etc. We have even had a couple of marriage proposals on board!
All trips operate within Blakeney Harbour, we do not venture out into the open sea.

All our boats are fully licenced by the MCA and carry full life-saving equipment to meet requirements.
Our skippers are highly experienced qualified Boatmasters, holding licences issued by the MCA, and trained first aiders. Temple Seal Trips carry out regular training programmes with all their staff.
