We have been given the go-ahead….and plan to start running on Tuesday 7th July!
Temple Seal Trips are preparing to operate during these troubled times and are trying to organise a safe environment for all their staff and customers to enjoy. It is not going to be easy changing any of our old habits (let’s be honest we have a well-oiled set up that hasn’t changed for years), combined with plenty of Norfolk attitude which doesn’t respond well to change, and this could all be a bit tricky! So, in order for us to continue taking passengers out to see the seals we have put a few ideas together.
2 m social distancing where possible
Bring a face mask/covering
Bring hand sanitiser (we cannot supply sanitiser stations, sorry)
One person to pick up tickets on Morston Quay (we are ditching the office at the Anchor pub for now to avoid footfall in the pub) so look for us near the white van, wearing red and white TEMPLE SEAL TRIP tops
There will be no landing on Blakeney Point at present
Toilets on Morston quay are closed – National Trust will let us know when they intend to open them.
DO NOT come to visit us or the seals if you have any symptoms of Coronavirus Covid 19. High temperature, continuous new cough, lack of smell – STAY AT HOME!!
Ring 01263 740791 to book and receive the whole instruction chat so we are all aware of how to stay safe. We are taking the safety of our staff and customers very seriously, so we need to ensure all measures are discussed. Most of all please be patient – we really do not know how this will pan out and with all the best plans, we may well need everyone to be kind and tolerant while the changes occur. The boats will be extremely limited with how many people we can take, so they may well appear empty – please bear with us (encourage us to keep smiling!) and we thank you for your support.
