FAQ’S

Book by telephone 01263 740791 and chat to one of us in the office – we reserve your seats and you pay on the day. We can take bookings throughout the year, but seats are limited, so book ahead if you can to avoid disappointment, bearing in mind July and August can be very busy!

The boats operate on the tide, which varies every day.  Click here for the full timetable.

We ask you to pick your tickets up 30 minutes prior to departure from Morston Quay NR25 7BH. Our office is situated in a white camper van – look out for the red and white Temple Seal Trip signs and staff, who will be wearing red and white. We take card or cash.

Yes, Morston Quay has a pay and display National Trust car park (free to members), along with café facilities and toilets.

Unfortunately not, due to the size of the boats.   However, there are toilets on Morston Quay for your use before departure.

We operate a 48 seater, a 30 seater and a 12 seater.   They are all available as private charter if required, so ring for a chat if you fancy booking a party or extra special event that we can help you with.

We never go out to the open sea. We operate within Blakeney Harbour, licenced by The Maritime Coastguard agency (MCA) and carry full lifesaving equipment as required (lifejackets and life rafts). Our safety record is impeccable, and all staff are fully qualified and trained. Safety is our top priority.

We carry full lifesaving equipment on board, including liferafts and lifejackets. These are for emergency use as required by the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA).

Yes, we do……but you don’t have to! We just ask you to let us know if you wish to cancel your booking. We are very happy to go in most weather conditions, although strong winds in a certain direction could mean we have to cancel.

All our bookings are reserved only, so no refund is necessary. We will text in advance to prewarn if possible and will continue to contact all bookings until everyone is made aware. We are unable to offer seal trips in gale conditions, so keep your mobiles handy if winds are predicted to be strong.

Yes, well behaved dogs on leads are very welcome. (Please consider other passengers who may not be so keen on dogs!)

Yes, it is definitely worth turning up if you have not booked. We may well have room for you, but although there are occasions when we may be booked up, we always offer a cancellation list on the day in case of any no-shows.

Yes, we take card payment or cash.

We are based on Morston quay, in the village of Morston, along the main A149 coast road. We have a bus stop in the village, and we are a mile from Blakeney, connected by a beautiful stretch of coastal path which is highly recommended for a stroll. There is also a pub, The Anchor Inn, in the village offering refreshments.
