Our Team
Jim
We have our red leader, Jim Temple, at the helm with numerous
family members helping along the way.
Jim has been taking the boats out since he was 9 years old, so has definitely qualified for the most experienced skipper of us all.
Alfie
On the boats you will find Jim working with his grandson Alfie.
Alfie started as our apprentice two years ago and is now a mainstay to the business. He is gaining all his qualifications and is on track to learning as much as his grandad within the next 50 years!
Derek
Derek has earned his family status by being godfather to many of the Temple offspring over the years, but his service to the family goes above and beyond.
He is a superb skipper, and his knowledge is outstanding.
Andy
Andy has been living full time in Morston for the past 10 years, but prior to that he spent many years holidaying here, so has definitely earnt his stripes.
Temple Seal Trips feel privileged to have such qualified and exceptional skippers on board.
You may well find yourself skippered by women within Temple Seal Trips. Jane, Rachael and Lily are all qualified skippers and often take the smaller boat Lily Too out for trips.
Jane, Rachael, Lily & Lucinda
In the office you will find Jim’s wife, Jane, along with Rachael and Lily, two of his daughters, all of them answering the phone selling tickets and welcoming the general public onto Morston Quay.
These ladies form the back bone of getting everyone to where they need to be, in the right place at the right time. Our incredible office staff often need help, which comes in the form of Lucinda. Between the four of them the business is kept running on its toes!
Extra Family Help
Other family members we can call on for assistance are Steven (Rachael’s husband, Alfie’s dad!),
Bobby, the youngest of the family, Elsie and Weez, another two of Jim’s daughters, and Robert and
Joanie, Jim’s brother and sister. They are all happy to lend a hand when needed, and of course, love spending spare time on the boats too!
